Darley shuttler Harry Angel (IRE), a Champion 3YO Sprinter by Dark Angel, has produced his first foal in the Northern Hemisphere after spending last spring in Australia.
His first foal was born on Wednesday, 22 January when Karijini, produced a chestnut filly at Brighwalton Stud.
She was described by Stud Manager Sean Keane as, “a very nice foal, very strong for a maiden mare.
“Good body, well put together, short coupled, good shoulder, healthy and strong.
“I am very happy with her.”
Karijini, a three-time winner, is from the immediate female family of Stagecraft and Balalaika and further back, Cezanne and Colorspin.
Harry Angel broke his maiden in the Group II Mill Reef at two, before landing the Group I July Cup and the Group I Haydock Sprint Cup (which he won by four lengths) at three.
Harry Angel stands at a fee of 20,000 pounds at Dalham Hall and was priced at $22,000 in Australia last spring covering 129 mares at Kelvinside in NSW.
