Hot Lots Day 2 Magic Millions 2020

Mark Smith - Wednesday January 8

With an unprecedented number of high profile first season stallions, the success of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale was in a large part going to hinge on how they were accepted in the market place and in that regard, it was a big thumbs up on the opening day.

American Pharoah (USA), Capitalist and Astern all hit the board for highest priced yearlings and they were backed up by some good results from the less hyped brigade.

There is an unquenchable thirst for the stock of I Am Invincible and the other stalwarts such as Fastnet Rock, Zoustar, Snitzel, Not A Single Doubt, Redoute’s Choice, Exceed And Excel, Sebring, Hinchinbrook and Snitzel all played their parts on Day 1 as did a few of the younger generation like Pride Of Dubai, Brazen Beau, Dundeel and Pierro.

Looking ahead to day 2 here are some of the lots expected to make a splash.
