Sun Stud Proud to Support Bushfire Appeal

Media Release - Sunday January 5

Throughout January, Victoria’s Sun Stud will be supporting those affected by the devastating bushfires by donating $1,000 for every winner by a Sun Bloodstock owned horse, plus $200 for every winner sired by a stallion on the Sun Stud roster.

Bel Esprit“The bushfires across the country are having a horrendous impact on so many communities,” Sun Stud’s managing director, Danielle Cheng, points out. “Sun Stud, and our racing division, Sun Bloodstock, has received such great support in Australia and therefore we’d like to do our bit to help in such dire circumstances.

“It’s just heartbreaking to see not only so many homes being lost, but the affect it has also had on livestock. Naturally enough, we always welcome a winner racing in our colours or by one of our stallions, but there’s even more of a reason to cheer one home in January.

“The entire Sun Stud team are proud to support this cause and it was terrific to see roster stalwart, Bel Esprit, kick off the fundraising efforts with a treble on Saturday.”
