Triple Crown is Turning Pink

You may notice something slightly different about our runners from November 1. That’s because for the entirety of November, Triple Crown Syndications has swapped its famous red silks to pink in order to raise money for the McGrath Foundation and help to increase breast cancer awareness.

Triple Crown colours are carried by many winners but none more famous than two time Everest winner RedzelIt is estimated that 53 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia every day this year and it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Australia, with 1 in 7 women diagnosed before the age of 85.

“It is safe to say that most of us have probably been affected by this disease, either personally or through a family member or friend,” Triple Crown’s Chris Ward said.

“We would like to encourage industry participants and the general public to get behind this initiative by making a donation. Every bit will make a difference.

“Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will ultimately help a very important cause.”


McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support, from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

The Foundation funds 135 McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses in communities right across Australia, who have supported more than 75,000 families since 2005. However, funding for 121 further McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses is needed to ensure that every family has access to the support they provide.
