Aquis Farm’s Spill the Beans posted his first winner on Sunday and just for good measure made it a quinella siring the first two home in the juvenile maiden at Townsville.
Trained by Roy Chillemi, Tennessee Boy was having his first start and cruised clear as a hot favourite to win the 100 metre scamper by three and a half lengths over another first starter in Molongle Drifter.
The winner was bought for $12,500 from the Aquis Farm draft by Group I Pty Ltd at the Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale.
Bred by Aquis and partners, he is a half-brother to Group I placed Tennessee Strategy and is the seventh winner from good producer Tennessee Red, a half-sister by Red Ransom (USA) to Group II winner Trezevant.
A Group II winning son of champion sire Snitzel, Spill the Beans stands at Aquis Queensland at a fee of $11,000.
