First Win for Slipper Sibling

Tara Madgwick - Thursday October 3
All Too Hard has made a blazing start to the season with over 30 winners headed by his unbeaten three year-old and leading Caulfield Guineas contender Alligator Blood, but one of his more interesting winners came at Gosford on Thursday when four year-old gelding Iresign opened his account.

Iresign as a yearlingRetained to race by his breeders after passing in at Inglis Easter, the Lee Curtis trained Iresign has been given plenty of time to mature and showed the benefit of recent racing when scoring a length win in the 1100 metre maiden.

Second at two of his three previous starts, Iresign can doubtless go forward from this ground breaking win and is a half-brother to Golden Slipper winner Mossfun and Singapore stakes-winner Mawahibb.

Bred by Fairview Park and Dr Ian and Linda Duckworth, Iresign is the third winner from t here foals to race from unraced Snitzel mare Eye for Fun.

Eye for Fun has been a great money spinner for her owners with her I Am Invincible three year-old colt selling for $1,050,000 at Inglis Easter in 2018 and a Shooting to Win colt selling for $300,000 at Inglis Easter this year.

The I Am Invincible colt has been named Invincible Vision and had two barrier trials last month for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable winning both of them, so keep an eye out for him!

Eye for Fun has a Pierro yearling colt, but no foal this spring after missing to I Am Invincible.
