With years of experience dealing with quality thoroughbreds, O'Gorman has the happy knack for preparing a youngster to show a glimpse of their ability for this sale and still be ready to blossom in the next stage of their career.
A good breeze up is not a grand final, but it is the first step on the path to a successful racing career and the proof is in the pudding.
"We will offer four two year rolds at the Gold Coast that all breezed in under 11 seconds, showing natural ability and a tractable nature," said Melanie O'Gorman.

Last year's breeze up draft has produced smart
Singapore winner Gold Coast (3g Zebedee (GB) x Red Jesteress), a $50,000
purchase, who broke his maiden last month in good style.
This year's draft looks to be full of quality with a colt by champion sire Written Tycoon sure to be a very popular horse as Lot 20 .
"He's a lovely colt and is very true to the Written Tycoon type that is instantly recognizable when you think of a horse like Golden Slipper winner Capitalist," said Melanie O'Gorman.
He is the first foal of his dam It's Poet's Day, who was a very fast Melbourne metropolitan winner of seven races and was also fourth in a Listed race at Flemington. His grand-dam La Rumba was also a quality Group III winning sprinter by champion sire Centaine.
Another colt with pedigree to back him up is Lot 64 , a powerhouse bay by promising young sire Wandjina from the terrific producer Mina.
A good metropolitan winner, Mina has had six foals to race and five are winners headed by Group III winner Puritan and stakes-placed Linked In, who has also achieved success racing in Hong Kong.
"His dam has done a really good job and it's a running family with the first three dams leaving 18 winners between them," O'Gorman pointed out.
