Thoroughbred Breeders' NSW is proud to host its 2018-2019 awards' presentation in conjunction with the National Jockeys Trust Charity Fundraiser on Saturday September 21 at the Australian Turf Club Director's luncheon in the Grand Ballroom at Royal Randwick.
As part of the Colgate Optic White (George Main) Stakes day of racing which opens the 2019 TAB Everest carnival, TBNSW will present awards for Champion Sire, Champion first-season sire, Champion Broodmare and Small Breeder Of The Year.
There are amazing raffle and auction prizes up for grabs as part of the NJT's fundraising to assist ill and injured jockeys in need.
Leading thoroughbred studs Vinery and Coolmore have donated weekend escape accommodation packages at their historic properties in the Hunter Valley, 2 tickets in the Godolphin Box at Royal Randwick on Melbourne Cup Day and Nicholas Haywood Jewellery Concierge will offer an 18 carat white and rose gold diamond dress ring independently valued at $9,500.
Other items include two pieces of Winx memorabilia and prizes for the best-dressed male and female in the room.
TBNSW Director Caroline Searcy will host the awards' presentation while the day's MC's Glenn Munsie and Neil Paine will be joined by NJT race-day ambassadors' Christine Bowman and Cathy McEvoy with special guests including ex-jockeys and other members of the racing industry.
It promises to be a fabulous afternoon of premium dining, awards and fundraising on a great spring Group 1 race-day.
