Godolphin unleashed some of its spring big guns in the first of 15 barrier trials at Rosehill Gardens on Friday.
Kiamichi, Alizee, Best Of Day's (GB), Hartnell, Avillius and Roheryn were all given an easy time of it in the 900 metre open trial, which was won by Lee Curtis's Group III MVRC Champagne Stakes winner Meryl (Epaulette).
There were some very interesting 2yo trials. It was good to see Nash Rawiller, on the comeback trail, punching home Coolmore's royally-bred Fastnet Rock filly Art Collection in heat 4. She was roused up only for the final 100 metres.
The Richard & Michael Freedman-trained Deep Field filly Galaxial couldn't be held slow enough by Rachel King in heat 6, leading every step of the way to win by five lengths in a slick 54.58s.
The $30,000 Magic Millions purchase has been nominated for two maidens over 1000m and 1300m at Kembla Grange on July 25.
Bjorn Baker dominated the session with seven winners. His unraced Smart Missile colt Sir Rocket looked impressive when given a shake-up by Jason Collett to win his heat in 54,63s.
The $90,000 Magic Millions yearling is out of a half-sister to multiple Group II winner Thump.
