Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 9
The barrier trials at Warwick Farm on Monday morning included six heats for juveniles with first season sire Shooting to Win producing the quinella in one of those heats.

Shooting to WinChris Waller produced Shooting to Win filly Nanakorobi Yaoki for the first time in public and she looked a natural runner, jumping quickly to take up the lead and skipping clear to win by nearly two lengths over another Shooting to Win filly in Seibhur.

An $80,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Equine Bloodstock from the Newhaven Park draft, Nanakorobi Yaoki is from Not a Single Doubt mare Miss Doubtfire, a half-sister to Group I winner Only a Lady and a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group III winner Faraway Town.

Also winning a trial was the Godolphin gelding Pandemic, a half-brother by Sepoy to Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Earthquake.
