Metropolitan
juvenile maidens in Sydney and Melbourne today have drawn super interesting fields
with loads of well bred babies looking to put a win on the board before season's
end including the full sister to HK Horse of the Year Werther, $1million Fastnet
Rock colt Duty and a half-brother to More Joyous by Fastnet Rock.
Trained by Chris Waller for Jonathan Munz's Pinecliff Racing, Tavistock filly
Toffee Tongue will make her debut at Sandown. A $500,000 Karaka Book I purchase
for Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock from the Highden Park draft, Toffee Tongue is a
full sister to triple Group I winner Werther and Group III winner Gobstopper
being from good producing Zabeel mare Bagalollies.

A competitive colts and geldings maiden at Canterbury will see John O'Shea will
take the wraps off Duty, who was a $1million Magic Millions purchase from the
Element Hill draft. By Fastnet Rock, he
is from stakes-winning Encosta de Lago mare Risk Aversion, a sibling to Group
II winner Shania Dane from a family packed with Black Type.
Also keep an eye on the Chris Waller trained Lewis, a homebred for John
Singleton. The half-brother to champion mare More Joyous from Group I winner
Sunday Joy has had three quiet trials and is easy in the market.
I Am Invincible has several runners and could easily extend his lead on the two
year-old sires list.
