win with a commanding front running display.
Ridden by Zac Purton and trained by John Moore, Buddies dominated his older rivals
to win the 1650 metre Class Three event by nearly three lengths taking his
overall record to three win and a second from seven starts.
A $320,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for George Moore
Bloodstock, Buddies is the first winner from Group III placed Anabaa (USA) mare
Gladwell.
Buddies is one of four winners in Hong Kong for So You Think from just nine
runners.
The sire of over 100 Australian winners this season, So You Think stands at
Coolmore at a fee of $38,500 this spring.
