G2 Win for Emirates Park Owned Mehdaayih

The Group II Prix du Malleret at Saint Cloud in France overnight was won in commanding fashion by Frankel filly Mehdaayih, who is raced by Emirates Park.

Mehdaayih - image Emirates TwitterThe John Gosden trained filly won the Listed Cheshire Oaks two starts ago and was seventh at her most recent outing in the Group I Epsom Oaks.

Sent out favourite for this 1m4f staying test for three year-old fillies, Mehdaayih surged to the line for a comfortable two length win under Frankie Dettori.

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Mehdaayih is the best of three winners from Sayyedati Symphony, a Gone West daughter of Champion 3YO Filly Sayyedati, who won five Group I races.
