Fresh
from winning the Group II BRC Brisbane Cup last Saturday with talented import
Sixties Groove (IRE), the Australian Bloodstock colours were back in winning
form in France overnight carried by Redoute's Choice gelding Danceteria to victory
in the Group III Longchamp La Coupe.
Already a Listed winner in France earlier this year, the David Menuisier
trained four year-old settled back in the field and unwound a powerful finish
to charge home and win the 2000m contest by a length.
Danceteria has won six of 14 starts and obviously has plenty of staying
potential.
He is a half-brother to stakes-winner Blossomtime from stakes-winner Bal De La
Rose, who is a half-sister to Group I winner and leading sire Lope de Vega.
