I Am Invincible had been on 26 stakes-winners which equalled the previous record for stakes-winners in a season shared by Danehill and Snitzel.
A homebred for Gerry Harvey trained by Anthony Cummings, Libertini was second on debut in the Group III ATC Kindergarten Stakes during the carninval and then an easy winner at Randwick on on ANZAC Day.
Sent out a hot favourite at Scone, she travelled forward from an outside draw for Tommy Berry to sit outside the leader and dashed away down the running to win the 1100 metre sprint by two lengths from another talented I Am Invincible filly in Regimental Band.
"Very pleased with that," said Anthony Cummings.
"It showed another side to her to be able to sit outside the leader like that.
"I would be very surprised if at the end of the day, she's not a Group I winner and maybe more than one Group I.
"She had a few boxes to tick this preparation. She's a winner and now a stakes-winner, so she can have a break and come back and fulfil her potential."
Libertini is a serious blueblood being the third winner from three foals to race from Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Aloha, a half-sister by Encosta de Lago to the dam of Group II winner My Emotion. This is the famed 'Tennessee' that has also produced recent Group I winners Seabrook and Malaguerra.
Gerry Harvey will be pleased to see Libertini show so much ability as Aloha has a weanling filly by I Am Invincible to follow and is back in foal to him again.
Libertini is the 46th stakes-winner for Yarraman Park's superstar sire I Am Invincible, who stands this spring at a fee of $247,500 making him the most expensive stallion in the country for 2019.
