Spendthrift Australia Set 2019 Roster and Fees

Spendthrift Australia has set service fees for its roster of six stallions for 2019, led by multiple Group One-winning two-year-old Bolt d'Oro (USA) who will stand his debut season for $13,750 including GST.

Bolt D'OroThe son of Medaglia d'Oro (USA) will shuttle after covering a full book of mares in his first season at stud in Kentucky.

Overshare, the Group-winning son of top sire I Am Invincible, is set to stand his second season at Spendthrift Australia for a fee of $11,000 including GST, which is the same fee his sire stood for in his first four years at stud.

 

A multiple stakeswinning three-year-old during his racing career, Overshare will participate for the first time in the farm's renowned "Breed Secure" breeding program, which allows breeders to pay service fees from sale proceeds after recouping agreed expenses.

 

Also set to stand his second season is champion sire Sebring's Group Two-winning son Gold Standard. Winner of the sire-making Stan Fox S. (G2) at three, Gold Standard's fee will be $5,500 including GST. The flashy chestnut will also participate in Spendthrift's Breed Secure program.

Overshare and Gold Standard have first-crop foals arriving this spring following good support in their debut season.

 

Swear, by renowned sire of sires Redoute's Choice, has also been well supported in his two seasons at stud. He will stand 2019 for $5,500 including GST.

Hampton Court, by the aforementioned Redoute's Choice, and Jimmy Creed (USA), by Distorted Humor, both have larger crops hitting the tracks soon. Hampton Court will stand for $5,500 including GST and Jimmy Creed (USA) for $8,800 including GST. Swear, Hampton Court and Jimmy Creed (USA) will also participate in the Breed Secure program in 2019
