Friday's race card features the annual Inglis 2YO Scone Challenge, a $100,000 race restricted to graduates of the previous year's HTBA Inglis Scone Yearling Sale. A field of 15 juveniles will compete for the prize, headlined by the undefeated Brett Cavanough-trained Longbottom. The undefeated daughter of Sidestep was purchased at the sale by Kitchwin Hills for $5,500.
Saturday's program holds the Inglis 3YO Guineas, the final race in the
series for 2017 Inglis Sales Graduates. Stakes winners Military Zone and Wild Planet headline the $300,000 race.
The race also features graduates of
the Classic Yearling Sale, Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, Australian Easter
Yearling Sale and the HTBA Scone Yearling Sale.
