Bred by Widden in partnership, Boomps a Daisy is the first winner for Group III winning Red Ransom (USA) mare Fuddle Dee Duddle, a half-sister to Group II winner Hallowell Belle from the family of Caulfield Guineas winner In Top Swing.
Fuddle Dee Duddle has a weanling filly by Sebring and is back in foal to Zoustar.
Also trained by Brett Crawford is exciting filly Run Fox Run, who was impressive again in winning over 1200 metres by three-quarters of a length as favourite.
Bred by Mill Park in partnership, she was a $420,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Craig Roscoe and Brett Crawford from the Mill Park draft making her the most expensive yearling by Foxwedge sold at that sale.
Run Fox Run is a half-sister to stakes-winner Guard of Honour and is the third winner from General Nediym mare Victory Cry, a full sister to stakes-winner Victory Chant and half-sister to stakes-winner Reldas from the family of Group I winner Serious Speed.
