Witness added a 15th stakes-winner to his tally in Adelaide on
Saturday when progressive three year-old filly Cosmic Alert won the Listed SAJC
Laelia Stakes at Morphettville.
Now with Will Clarken after being previously trained by Lloyd Kennewell, Cosmic
Alert was fit and ready to fire at her third run back from a spell and raced handy
to the pace before kicking clear to win the 1600 metre feature by a length.
Passed in as a yearling and retained to race, Cosmic Alert runs for Ultra
Racing and has the overall record of three wins and three seconds from nine
starts and over $100,000 in prizemoney.
She is the first winner for Cosmic Rock, a winning Rock of Gibraltar (IRE)
daughter of stakes-winner Cosmic Strike.
Golden Grove have entered the current yearling from Cosmic Rock, a filly by
Shamus Award, for the 2019 Inglis Melbourne Gold Yearling Sale as Lot
