2017 Inglis Scone Guineas winner France has found success in HK

Now trained by John Moore, Encouraging surged clear to win the Class Two handicap over 1400 metres by two and a half lengths and has now won six of 22 starts.

A $475,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the draft of Newhaven Park for China Horse Club / Michael Wallace Bloodstock, Encouraging is a full brother to Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Peeping and is from Group II winning Encosta de Lago mare Miss Marielle, a three-quarter sister to Group II winner and sire Eurozone.

Newhaven Park will offer the current yearling from Miss Marielle, a colt by Medaglia D'Oro (USA), as Lot 125 at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
