Racking up his fourth consecutive win at Hobart on Friday
in the Listed $100,000 Tasmanian Guineas was promising Dundeel three year-old
The Inevitable.
Prepared by Scot Brunton, The Inevitable is unbeaten this preparation and has
improved with every outing.
Sent out a hot favourite for his first attempt at 1600 metres, he cruised home
to win by a length and has now won four of five starts earning nearly $120,000 in prizemoney.
A $90,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for David Brunton from the
Cornerstone Stud draft, The Inevitable is a half-brother to Group III winner
Blahnik and stakes-winner Elysees being one of 11 winners from sensational
producer Gift Bouquet, a stakes-winning daughter of Kings High.
He is the third stakes-winner for Arrowfield Stud's Dundeel, who has made good
progress this season with his oldest progeny turning three.
