All Eyes on Road to Magic Millions Raceday

Media Release - Friday December 28
All eyes will be on Doomben tomorrow with the annual Road to Magic Millions Raceday featuring outstanding fields with many gallopers chasing a start at Queensland's richest meeting in a fortnight.

The $10 million Magic Millions Raceday, headlined by the $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic, is just over two weeks away and is shaping up nicely.

The final line up of runners for the Gold Coast will become clearer after tomorrow's Doomben meeting which includes four wildcard races.

Every runner in the Group Three BJ McLachlan Stakes (1200m) holds an entry for the $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

VictoremBetEasy has the debutant Just Zerene as the $2 favourite for the McLachlan with Mishani Spirit, Rome, Devine Factor and Sun City kept safe in single figures.

Glamour filly Outback Barbie will attempt to win the second leg of the Summer Crowns 3YO bonus when she jumps as favourite in the Group Three Vo Rogue Plate (1350m). The Tony Gollan trained filly is currently a $2.60 pop.

Across the rest of the program wildcards are up for grabs in the Shoot Out Quality (2200m), Falvelon Quality (1110m), The Buffering Plate (1350m) and the Nudgee Stakes (1200m).

Victorem (pictured above ) is the shortest priced favourite of the day at $1.75 for The Buffering.

The $10 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday is to be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Saturday, January 12
