Triple Hero more than a triple threat

Media Release - Friday December 21

With a newly-minted syndication business Snow Eagle Racing set for launch, Nathan Snow enjoyed a winning family day out at Goulburn to watch his gavelhouse purchase Triple Hero take out the DRC Fred Cooper Cup yesterday.

Triple Hero  was $2,100 purchase by Snow in May and under Warwick Farm-based young gun trainer Clare Cunningham, the son of Mutawaajid has since returned $38,100 in prize-money, more than 10-times his purchase price.

TRiple Hero made plenty of people happy!"We had followed the horse for a number of years so when he came up for sale on gavelhouse.com we had to have a go at buying him," said Snow who has plenty of respect for Cunningham's obvious talent as a trainer.

"Clare is a wonderful horseperson who has done a lot to get Triple Hero back to tip top form as an eight-year-old with no end in sight."

"Clare believes he will be able to step up in distance and be successful."

"Standing at the 200 metre mark he was flat out and two lengths clear of the field but looked to be tiring, they were closing quickly and I thought 'this is going to be a long drive home' however much improved apprentice Robbie Dolan kept Triple Hero going forward and theyhung on to the win."

Snow's new venture Snow Eagle Racing will look to source tried horses that are race fit to syndicate.

"Buying horses that are tired means we can see their form and potential and are able to buy them at market value."

"It will be up to the team to improve each horse and get them in the winners' circle."
