Deep Impact World’s Most Expensive Stallion in 2019

Shadai Stallion Station have announced fees for 2019 with Sunday Silence's champion son Deep Impact heading the roster at a fee of 40million yen, which equates to $A490,496.

Deep ImpactA small number of Arrowfield mares have been visiting Deep Impact to Southern Hemisphere time in recent years and two of his fillies from Alverta and Charming Estelle were sold by Arrowfield Stud at Inglis Easter this year fetching $1.1 million and $1million respectively. There are six two year-olds in total in Australia by the 16 year-old super sire.

There are another half dozen yearlings and one of them, a colt from Grito, has been entered for the 2019 Magic Millions and will be offered by Arrowfield Stud as Lot 635.

Three more foals have been born in Australia so far this spring for Deep Impact, two bred by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum and one for Fairway Thoroughbreds.
