Promising
three year-old Smart Missile filly Landela won her third successive race in
South Africa on Monday when saluting at Fairview to bring a timely pedigree
update for her Gold Coast bound three-quarter sister.
Trained by Alan Greeff, she scored a long neck win in the 1200 metre fillies
and mares sprint and has now won three of seven starts.
A $180,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Form Bloodstock from the Gilgai Farm
draft, Landela is the second winner from Follow That Cat, a half-sister by Tale
of the Cat (USA) to Group I winner Driefontein.
Gilgai Farm will offer the current yearling from Follow That Cat, a filly by
Hinchinbrook, as Lot 588 at the 2019 Magic Millions.
