Pierro Winner for Triple Crown

Tara Madgwick - Friday November 16
Triple Crown Syndications owners were in the winner's circle at Canterbury on Friday night with promising Pierro filly Reelem in Ruby.

Reelem in Ruby as a yearlingSecond on debut at Warwick Farm back in June, the Peter and Paul Snowden trained filly was having her first run back from a spell in the 1200 metre maiden.

Ridden patiently by Josh Parr, she settled midfield and when angled out wide into clear ground at the top of the straight she made ground quickly and was determined to the line to score a head win.

A $90,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Triple Crown from the Mayfield Thoroughbreds draft, Reelem in Ruby was a successful pinhook having been previously bought from the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale for $75,000 by Peter Ford Thoroughbreds from the Erinvale Thoroughbreds draft.

Reelem in Ruby is the first winner for Bobine (USA), a half-sister by Giant's Causeway to Champion US Turf Filly Possibly Perfect, a half-sister to the dam of Group I winners Coil and Chiropractor.

Triple Crown and the Snowdens made it a race to race double when they took out the next race with Written Tycoon mare Wooshka. A $95,000 Inglis Premier purchase, she posted her third win from 10 starts.
