Scene Set for MM 2YO's in Training Sale Following Final Breeze Ups

Media Release - Monday October 8
The scene is set for the 2018 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale following today's final breeze-up session at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

Just over 60 juveniles breezed this morning as they and other exciting prospects from three earlier breeze-up sessions around the country prepare to go under the hammer tomorrow from 11am (Qld time).

Today's quickest breeze-up time came from the Sidereus half brother to Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy winner Epic Grey (Lot 29) who stopped the clock in a slick 10.24 seconds.

The bay colt is a member of the Symphony Lodge draft and will be offered during the early stages of Australasia's number one strike rate sale for two-year-olds.

Kenmore Lodge's Deep Field colt from the American stakes winner Hadavision (Lot 52) clocked the second fastest breeze at 10.38 seconds.

Rounding out the top five times of the day were colts by More Than Ready (Lot 217 from Britomart in 10.44 secs), Snitzel (Lot 156 from Spirit of Joy in 10.55 secs) and another by More Than Ready (Lot 150 from Slow the Slow in 10.65 secs).

The 2018 Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale will be held tomorrow at the Magic Millions Sales Complex from 11am (Qld time). To view the breeze-up times and clips as well as photos and pedigrees click here.

A number of impressive updates have been recorded since the catalogue was released including a significant boost to the pedigree of Lot 182 - the Fastnet Rock filly from Valadon - the sale bound filly is a three quarter sister to recent Group Two Shannon Stakes winner Noire.

Following the 2YOs in Training Sale focus switches to the Spring Racehorse Sale with a quality packed line up of both exciting and proven racehorses going under the hammer. To view this online catalogue click here.

Two lots to go under the hammer at the Spring Racehorse Sale have won in the past week. Catesby (Lot 259 fromGodolphin) was a winner at Warwick Farm last Wednesday, while Mini Model (Lot 238 from Woodpark Stud) won at Canberra on Friday
