In a short number of years Aquis has developed into one of the leading names in the Australian bloodstock industry and this has no doubt been helped by the success their sales' graduates are having on the track.

This talented Deep Field colt breezed in 10.15 secondsThe 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale marked the first yearling sale for the Fung family's Aquis Farm and while the draft only numbered six, the success of its graduates was a sign of things to come.

From the six yearlings offered in that draft, five sold, all raced and all have won, including the last start Stakes winner Spring Choice and American Genius who was Group Two-placed on debut at two.

Aquis' 2017 Magic Millions Yearling graduates include Hold The Line, who was unbeaten in his two starts at two, the Aquis-bred Smart Elissim who won his only start at two and is a winner and Group Three-placed this season at three, and Hinchrider who broke his maiden at two by a sensational 7 lengths. The list goes on.

Magic Millions/Aquis is a proven cross and buyers will no doubt pay close attention to the five Lots that Aquis has in the upcoming Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs In Training Sale.

Lot 43 is a bay colt by Deep Field out of the Al Maher mare Geniemac who is a half-sister to the outstanding 2YO Paprika. Paprika won her first four starts at 2, which included the Listed QTC CE McDougall Stakes and the Listed BTC Tommy Smith Slipper, and she finished 2nd to the subsequent Group One Golden Slipper winner Phelan Ready in the Listed GCTC Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

Lot 78 is a bay colt by Holy Roman Emperor out of the Group Three-winning Centaine mare La Rumba. La Rumba is an outstanding producer – she has had seven foals to race and all are winners and include this colt's full-sister Empress Cleo, a winner of over $110,000. In total, 5 of La Rumba's runners are metropolitan winners, led by the Hong Kong-raced sprinter London City who has earned nearly HK$3,000,000.

Lot 138 is a bay colt by Dawn Approach and is the first foal for the winning Artie Schiller mare Schmartness. This is a family that knows how to win – 100% of the runners under his second and third dams are winners and his immediate family is highlighted by the Champion 3YO Colt Magistretti.

Lot 146 is a bay colt by Hampton Court out of the winning Giant's Causeway mare She's Warrego. She's Warrego is the dam of two winners to-date and they include this colt's three-quarter sister Queen of Wands. A winner at 2, she was Stakes-placed on three occasions and has earned over $230,000 for her connections to-date.

Lot 193 is a brown colt by Tavistock out of the winning O'Reilly mare Workingclass. This colt is bred on the same Montjeu/Last Tycoon cross as Group One AJC Australian Derby winner Roman Emperor. Tavistock's sire Montjeu has had 3 runners from O'Reilly mares for 3 winners including Le Celibataire who was 1.1L 4th behind Darci Brahma in the Group One QTC TJ Smith Classic at 2.
