First Foals from the 2016 Golden Slipper

Breednet - Wednesday October 3
It's fair to say 2016 was a vintage year for high class sprinting colts and the Golden Slipper saw nine colts take part, and eight of them went to stud all at once last season so let's take a look at some of the first foals from the class of 16.

The race was won by Capitalist with the filly Yankee Rose second, and future Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Flying Artie third.

So here's a selection, in alphabetical order.

Astern x Fleur Fatale colt photographed at Darley.

Capitalist x Strawberry Field filly photographed at Newgate Farm.

Defcon x Moroccan Dancer filly photographed at Daandine Stud.

Extreme Choice x Peacetime filly photographed at Newgate Farm.

Flying Artie x Kiss The Daddy filly photographed at Newgate Farm.

Kiss And Make Up x Miss Elvee filly photographed at Aquis Farm.

Star Turn x Miss Seton Sands filly photographed at Vinery.
