Gilded Crown did everything right, showing good speed and when challenged and
headed in the straight continued to find the line strongly and prevail
narrowly. A promising result for freshman sire Hallowed Crown. Entente was
quite green in patches and is obviously talented.

Another win for a first season sire in Deep Field. Aerozoom was strong in the
final stages in a good sign for his future. It was the slowest time of the four
heats and there looked to be some horses with more to offer behind, namely third
placed The Astrologist and fourth placed Reddison.
