Bred and retained to race by Sun Stud, Covert Ops is the first foal of Group III winner Fine Bubbles, who was bought by Sun Stud for $400,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2016. Fine Bubbles has a yearling colt by Vancouver and is in foal to Written Tycoon.

Sebring colt Fortress Command made it back to back heat wins for Sun Stud when he surged home from back in the field to win his trial running away to be the second heat winner for Sebring. Finishing a close second was another Deep Field youngster in Redicon.

Passed in at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale shy of his $200,000 reserve, King’s Champ has been retained to race by Sun Stud and is the third foal of triple Group I winner Yosei, who has a Redoute’s Choice yearling colt and is in foal to him again.

The Sizzling filly was bought for a modest $32,500 by Darby Racing/ De Burgh Equine from the Eureka Stud draft at Inglis Classic and is the second winner on the day for Darby who won earlier with Exceed the Stars in Heat 1. Calescent is the second foal of Pimlico Girl, a three-quarter sister by Exceed and Excel to Group II winner and Golden Slipper place-getter Churchill Downs. Pimlico Girl has a yearling filly by Spirit of Boom and went to Air Force Blue (USA) last spring.

nice fillies going to the line locked together in Catch Me (I Am Invincible) and
Honey Go Lightly (Wandjina), who was ridden along to the finish and was awarded
the win by a whisker to give her first season sire Wandjna an important trial
winner.
Catch Me was a $625,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Yulong Investments from the Segehoe draft and Honey Go Lightly was a $250,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer Anthony Cummings out of the Glastonbury Farm draft. A big flashy chestnut, Honey Go Lightly is a lot like her mother, Group III winner Maslins Beach, who also trained by Anthony Cummings. Maslins Beach is due to foal to Vancouver.
Donandkim was an $85,000 MM purchase from the Arrowfield draft and is a half-brother to Group I winner and $1.5 million earner Secret Agenda and Group III placed Sweetener from good producer Negotiate, who is due to foal to Redoute’s Choice and has a yearling filly by Not a Single Doubt.
