MM Breeze Ups at Seymour

Media Release - Friday September 14
The build up to next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale continued in Victoria today when a quality line up of juveniles went through their paces at Seymour. The quickest time of the morning of 10.19 seconds was set by Lot 181, the Better Than Ready-Upper Notch colt from the draft of Baystone Farm.

Better Than Ready is the sire of the quickest breeze upThat breeze continued an exciting start to the stud career of the Lyndhurst Stud Farm based first season sire Better Than Ready who has seen three members of his first crop at the official trials all win.

The second fastest 200 metre breeze came from Lot 111 - the Dundeel filly from Natural Selection who clocked 10.21 seconds.

The filly, presented by Capital Gain's consignor Moffatt Breaking & Pre Training, is from a two time winning half sister to the Golden Slipper placedsire Zizou.

She will be out to emulate Darren Weir's quality three-year-old filly Krone who was the fastest filly at the same session last year and is already a stakes winner for her Roll the Dice Racing connections.

Other youngsters to impress on the day were colts by Deep Field (Lot 40 in 10.28 secs), Uncle Mo (Lot 101 in 10.33 secs) and Mawingo (Lot 154 in 10.35 secs).

It was an extremely successful session with24 of the 33two-year-olds breaking 11 seconds on theall weather trackwhich gives every horse theopportunity to gallop on a dry and even surface.
