MM 2YO's Impress at Breeze Ups

Quick times were the order of the day as Sydney's Warwick Farm pro-ride track hosted today's first breeze-up session leading into next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale.

Hinchinbrook sired the quickest 2YOToday's session saw 24 promising juveniles go through their paces on the all weather track in perfect weather conditions.

The fastest time of the day was posted by a Hinchinbrook gelding (Lot 79) that ran 9.81 seconds. Consigned by O'Gorman Racing Stables the Hinchinbrook two-year-old is from the four time winning Falkirk mare La Valeta. The BOBS eligible youngster is the mare's first foal.

No fewer than 17 of the two-year-olds today ran sub-11 second breezes over the electronically timed 200 metre sectional.

Other youngsters to run quick times during the session included a Shamexpress gelding (Lot 16, 10.11 secs), a Choisir colt (Lot 166, 10.16 secs), an Arlington colt (Lot 171, 10.23 secs) and a Star Witness colt (Lot 176, 10.25 secs).

Attention now turns to Victoria with the Seymour Racing Club hosting the second session of breeze-ups from 9am (AEST) tomorrow. Some 36 two-year-olds are scheduled to breeze. This session will again be streamed live via the Magic Millions website.

The third sessionwill take place at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Monday before thefinal session at the same venue on October 8, a day before the auction of all youngsters takes place at the Magic Millions Sales Complex on the Gold Coast.

Video footage of all breeze-ups conducted over the next three sessions will be available within the online catalogue by early next week.
