Oaks Goal for Redoute’s Choice Filly

Tara Madgwick - Friday August 31
The famed Arrowfield Stud colours were carried to victory at Wyong on Friday by promising Redoute's Choice filly Panzerfaust.

Redoute's ChoiceA homebred for Arrowfield trained by Paul Messara, Panzerfaust is improving with racing this campaign and scored a dominant win as a short priced favourite in the 1600 metre Benchmark 64 event.

Stable representative Leah Gavranich revealed a 2000 metre race at Randwick was the likely next target for Panzerfaust, who is seen as a potential Oaks filly for this season.

She certainly has the pedigree for that being a full sister to Group II winner Kebedee and Group III winner Panzer Division from Champion Chilan 2YO Filyl Desert Fight (Chi), a daughter pf Hussonet.

Arrowfield sold a Snitzel colt from Desert Fight for $350,000 at Magic Millions this year to James Harron Bloodstock. She has a filly by Snitzel to follow and was covered by Not a Single Doubt last spring.

Now 22, Redoute's Choice stands at Arrowfield this spring at a fee of $137,500.
