Zoustar
was not the only son of Northern Meteor to post a winner on Wednesday with
Newgate Farm's Eurozone getting in on the act with an impressive debut winner
at Morphettville for the Lloyd Kennewell stable.
Three year-old filly J'Adore was an even money favourite for the 1050 metre
maiden and scooted clear to win by a length and a quarter in a dominant
display.
A $46,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for her trainer from the Little
Hills draft, J'Adore is the fourth winner from metro winning General Nediym
mare Military Gal.
She is also the fourth winner for Eurozone, whose best offspring are headed by
stakes-winner Krone.
A Group II winning son of Northern Meteor, who blossomed at three, Eurozone has
some lovely types to go forward this season as three year-olds.
Eurozone stands at Newgate Farm at a fee of $11,000 this spring.
