Well

when setting a class record to win at Fairview.
The Alan Greeff trained filly forged clear to win the 1200 metre fillies and
mares sprint by three quarters of a length, her second win in nine starts.
A $130,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Newgate Farm draft for Form Bloodstock
she was bred by the late Dr Edmund Bateman and his wife and is the fourth
winner for Group I winner Apercu.
Her current two year-old , a colt by Wandjina made $200,000 at Magic Millions this
year for Sledmere Stud having been a successful pinhook as he was first sold as
a weanling by Newgate for $60,000 at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale.
Apercu has another Wandjina colt to follow and was covered last year by another
Snitzel son in Odyssey Moon, who was also raced by the Batemans before retiring
to Twin Hills Stud.
