With over 150 in attendance the sun came out right on cue on Sunday as Ambidexter walked into the parade ring for Cornerstone Stud's Open Day.
Ambidexter, Zebedee, Sir Prancealot and Valentia were the stars of the show with Free Eagle currently back on route from the Irish National Stud.
Cornerstone Stud principle Sam Hayes welcomed guests who had flown in from around the country.
"We enjoy hosting friends and clients on the farm and showcasing the Barossa Valley's finest produce with wine, cheese, artisan breads and smallgoods, not to mention some world class stallions," Hayes said.
Local Barossa Valley produce was in ample supply. Victoria McClurg from Barossa Valley Cheese Company was showcasing her award winning cheese while Maggie Beer, Yalumba and Elderton Wines and Eleni's Barossa Hand Made breads were served for the guests.
With rain originally forecast attendance was up on expectation with 160 breeders enjoying the farms hospitality.
