New Stakes-Winner for Dream Ahead

Slated to return to Aquis Farm in the Hunter Valley this spring, quality shuttler Dream Ahead (USA) added a new stakes-winner to his tally overnight in France with a tenacious Black Type victory for progressive four year-old Tornibush.

Dream AheadHe scored a head win in the Listed Prix Jacques de Bremond over 1m on turf taking his overall record to five wins from 12 starts.

Tornibush is the 18th stakes-winner for Dream Ahead and has won his past four starts.

He is the first winner for Celenza, a half-sister by Dansili to Group I winner Vadamos (Fr), who stands at stud in New Zealand.

Completely free of Danzig blood, Dream Ahead has proven a great match for Danehill line mares and seven of his 18 stakes-winners are bred this way including his Australian stakes-winners Dreams Aplenty, Generalissimo and Awaken.

Dream Ahead stands at a fee of $16,500.
