Media Release - Monday June 4

The Grenville Stud Stallion Parade will be held on Saturday 23rd of June at 12:00 noon.

ZululandExciting first season sire Zululand and the Group 1 winning Mawingo will be parade. Following on from the parade lunch and refreshments will be served.

Zululand (Fastnet Rock – Dream Play) was an impressive winner of the Group 2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes and ran a courageous 2nd in the Group 1 ATC Champagne Stakes as a 2YO. He has an exceptional pedigree being from the Group 2 winning mare Dream Play who is a half sister to the Group 1 winner Diplomat Lady. Heis an exceptional type and was a $1.5m Easter Yearling and provides an exciting opportunity for breeders this season.

Group 1 winner Mawingo (Tertullian – Montfleur) has left exceptional progeny with his progeny being well received at the 2018 Tasmanian Magic Millions Yearling Sale averaging over $20,000 (5 x his service fee).

A lucky door prize of a free serviceto either Zululand or Mawingo (at the winners discretion) will be given away on the day.
