Peter and Paul Snowden's Gold Symphony has the highest rating in the Winter Challenge field with a benchmark figure of 103 but there is plenty of depth at this stage with the likes of Snippets Land (99), Ninth Legion (100), Centre Pivot (97) and Classic Uniform (96) all entered.

Anthony and Edward Cummmings' Life O'Brien will be aiming to continue its' good run of form in the Benchmark 85 (2000m) while the Amanda Turner and Mauro Poletti-trained More To Gain resumes after a preparation which saw it not finish outside the top two placings.

The two-year-old event on Saturday has attracted 12 nominations and will be run over 1500m.

Gary Moore's Hostwin Meraki will be aiming to keep its' undefeated record in tact in the event.

Nominations have been extended until Tuesday for the 3yo Fillies Benchmark 72 Handicap (1200m), 3yo SW+P Plate (1400m), 2YO Handicap (1500m) and the Tab Highway Plate (1500m).

The rail will be in the true position with the track currently rated a good (4) with minimal rain forecast for the rest of the week.
