Leading the Mapperley Stud Stallion roster again this year is Australian Champion Middle Distance Horse of the Year Contributer. 

ContributerHe was a sensational racehorse winning the Gr.1 Chipping Norton Stakes and Gr.1 Ranvet Stakes. He is the only dual Gr.1 winning son of High Chaparral standing at stud in New Zealand. 

Standing at $12,500 + gst, Contributer offers breeders an incredible opportunity to access the formidable High Chaparral bloodline. 

High Chaparral has been on fire this season siring the Gr.1 winners of the Melbourne Cup (Rekindling), VRC Derby (Ace High) and the Vinery Stud Stakes (Hiyaam).

We have been absolutely thrilled with the quality of his first crop and breeders are delighted with the strength and athleticism of his weanlings, they are certainly going to make an impact when they are presented at the Yearling Sales.

Complacent joins his Godolphin compatriot here at Mapperley Stud and stands for a fee of $5000 +gst. 

ComplacentHe was a brilliant racehorse winning the Gr.1 Spring Champion Stakes, Gr.3 Gloaming Stakes and finished an unlucky 2nd in the Gr.1 VRC Derby in his 3yo season. He then came back as an older horse to win a further two Group races which showcased his amazing temperament and toughness as a racehorse. 

Bred on the same cross as proven stallion Tavistock (Montjeu over a Quest for Fame mare) he is exceptional value for breeders. His first crop has left many good judges impressed with their fine athleticism and excellent attitudes.

Puccini, the Champion 3yo Horse of Year will stand his second year at stud for a fee of $5000+gst. 

He was absolutely amazing winning the Gr.1 New Zealand Derby and 3 Gr.2 Guineas races in the same season establishing himself as an exciting stallion prospect. 

He followed on his amazing 3yo form when he came out and won the Gr.1 Thorndon Mile as a 4yo, he went on to win a total of 7 Group races throughout his illustrious career. Being the best-performed son of Encosta De Lago standing at stud in Australasia he represents a fantastic opportunity for all breeders.

He's Remarkable returns in 2018 and will stand for a fee of $3000+gst. His progeny has landed in some of the leading stables in Australasia and his first crop is starting to hit their straps on the racecourse with impressive winners on both sides of the Tasman. 

He is performing amongst the best NZ second season sires in Australasia and with plenty of talented gallopers on the rise, this could be the last opportunity to take advantage of his low service fee. With the sad passing of Pentire last year, He's Remarkable provides breeders the perfect opportunity to continue on with this wonderful sire line that has had tremendous success worldwide.
