Your Song featured at Vaal in South Africa on Thursday with an promising three year-old winner called Nautic Spirit, who posted her second win from her past three starts.

Trained by Paul Peter, Nautic Spirit broke her maiden at the same track in February before finishing third.

Your SongShe bounced back to win the 1200 metre sprint by a length and now has two wins and three placigns from just six starts.

Passed in as a weanling, Nautic Spirit was bred by Baddock Bloodstock and is the first foal of Karalli, a half-sister to stakes-winner Actress and and also the dam of Group I stars Desert War and Laser Hawk.

Karalli was bought by Rosemont Stud at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2015 and they sold a Zoustar filly from her at Magic Millions last year for $400,000.

Her current yearling filly by Starspangledbanner was passed in at Inglis Premier and she was covered by Capitalist last spring.
