The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board has set a date to hear a charge against trainer Trent Pennuto over the alleged stomach tubing of a horse on race day.
Racing Victoria stewards have charged Pennuto and stable employee David Price with allegedly attempting to stomach tube the Pennuto-trained Chatober prior to its race at Moe on May 25.
The hearing will be held on August 23.
It is an offence to stomach tube, without the permission of stewards, a horse engaged to run in a race, official trial or jump-out at any time on the day of the race.
Pennuto has been stood down from training since the day of the alleged tubing.
