Will Macdonald Joins Astute Bloodstock

Astute Bloodstock is delighted to announce the expansion of our team as we continue to meet increasing client demand and pursue our Group 1 ambitions.

This week, we welcome Will Macdonald as Sales and Marketing Manager at Astute Bloodstock, based in Sydney.

Will Macdonald joins Louis Le Metayer at Astute Bloodstock.

Will brings an impressive blend of horsemanship, international exposure, and bloodstock knowledge. A graduate of the prestigious Irish National Stud Breeding Management Course, he was recognised with the Irish Field Blue Hen Award.

His career has since taken him across Europe and Australia, with hands-on experience at leading operations including Baroda Stud, Yarraman Park and Widden.

He also completed the Goffs Internship in Ireland, gaining valuable insight into the European market.

Most recently, Will was part of the Inglis Bloodstock team, where he contributed to pedigree research, yearling inspections, client and vendor relations, and the coordination of both live and digital sales. Alongside his practical experience, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Socio-Legal Studies and Business Law from the University of Sydney, has completed auctioneering training at Inglis, and holds CPD qualifications in real estate and stock & station.

With his passion for the thoroughbred industry, global perspective, and strong communication skills, Will is well placed to support our clients and drive Astute Bloodstock’s sales and marketing initiatives. We look forward to introducing him to many of you over the coming months.
