Absent
from the Arrowfield roster in 2017, Choisir's Group I winning son Olympic Glory
(IRE) is listed to return to Australia this spring and was in the news
overnight for siring his first winner in Italy.
The Antonio Marcialis-trained colt Blury made a winning debut over 1000 metres
at Milan to break the ice for his sire and is from Invincible Spirit mare
Marablu, a full sister to stakes-winner Moonlife.
A four-time Group I winner, Olympic Glory was successful at the highest level
at two, three and four and along with Starspangledbanner would share top
honours as being the very best offspring of Choisir.
He covered books of 122 mares and 79 mares in 2015 and 2016 at a fee of $19,250, but did not shuttle
last year.
His yearlings have been well received having sold for up to $600,000 with a
total of 47 averaging $106, 765.
Olympic
Glory will return to Arrowfield at a fee of $16,500.
