Written Tycoon colt King will have to wait for another day to break his maiden
after being thumped by this Sebring filly at Gosford on ANZAC Day.
A homebred for Segenhoe Thoroughbreds prepared by John O’Shea, Pretty in Pink
won her only previous trial at Warwick Farm earlier this month and stepped it
up a notch again for this assignment.
She travelled midfield for Jeff Penza in the 1000 metre juvenile maiden and had
not trouble running straight past King to score a dominant two and a half
length win.
Passed in shy of her $275,000 reserve by Segenhoe at Inglis Easter, Pretty on
Pink is the first winner for Group II placed Nadeem mare Total Attraction, who
comes from the family of dual Cox Plate winner Fields of Omagh.
Pretty in Pink was the second two year-old winner for Sebring on Wednesday joining
Eawase, who won at Randwick, read about her here.
