The Mike Moroney-trained Tribal Wisdom and the Leon and Troy Corstens-trained Runson are both nominated for the BM90 Handicap over 1000m and both have the benefit of recent jumpouts up the straight course.

Markers on the steeple grass were out two metres, the ground riding in the good(4) range.

Racenet has compiled a list of times below with an analysis of the work to assist punters.

Comment

Tribal Wisdom

800m (Steeple grass) 54.98

24.04

Short and sharp, built into it gradually. Rolled off the bend and best part of the work was his last 200m when strong through the line and took some pulling up. Nominated for Flemington on Saturday.

Runson

800m (Steeple grass) 51.43

24.07

Short and sharp as is his want. Keen as usual and restrained, sharp the last 200m and wanting to go faster, powered through the line. Nominated for Flemington Saturday.

Confluence

1000m (Pro-Ride) 1:09.23

25.17

Holding his condition well with this more just a maintenance gallop. Consistent through his three-quarter pace and unhurried late, still under a hold through the line. Nominated for Flemington Saturday.

Rough Justice

800m (Steeple grass) 54.98

24.08

Worked alone and short and sharp as usual. Looks in terrific order, still well on the bridle through the line and keen to go faster. Nominated for Flemington on Saturday.

I Boogi

1000m (Steeple grass) 1:08.86

24.72

Taken good improvement from his first-up win. Unhurried through the first half before building, keen to go faster in the straight but restrained. Nominated for Flemington Saturday.

The Thug

1200m (Steeple grass) 1:19.98

24.89

Looks well and holding his condition well. This completed comfortably, allowed to be sharp late but still well on the bridle through the line. Nominated for Flemington on Saturday.

Nimimypiminy

1000m (Steeple grass) 1:09.91

23.98

Solid work. Not rushed from the off and steady through her three-quarter speed. Allowed to roll on the last 200m and sharp through the line. Nominated for Flemington on Saturday.

Yesterday's Songs

1000m (Steeple grass) 1:09.78

24.49

Has had a freshen from his racing in Queensland and Sydney. Strong from the off and always under a hold. Keen to go faster but restrained late. Nominated for Flemington on Saturday.

Araldo Junior

1400m (Steeple grass) 1:41.12

24.68

Looks in terrific order from his time in Queensland. Not out to go faster and did this without any effort, rolling up the last 200m and strong through the line. Nominated for Flemington Saturday.

War Legend

1000m (Pro-Ride) 1:10.73

26.34

Has strengthened and furnished from his time off following a bleeding attack. Alone and not out to do anything serious, ears pricked in the straight and on good terms with himself.

Odeon

800m (Pro-Ride) 55.12

24.18

Looks in terrific order and starting to pick up his work. Controlled from the off, travelled smoothly all the way and bounded up the straight.
