Farnan Fans Getting Excited

Golden Slipper winning sire Farnan has made a swift start to his stud career and with seven unraced trial winners in the month of April his tally of eight first crop winners to date looks like it will be headed skywards and one breeder not surprised is Mike O’Donnell of Fairhill Farm.

Farnan

Fairhill Farm is the biggest vendor at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this year and  five youngsters in the draft are by Farnan.

The Champion 2YO of his generation, Farnan was chosen as a foundation sire at Kia Ora Stud and is by champion sire Not a Single Doubt from a daughter of champion sire Street Cry (IRE).

“We have supported Farnan heavily since his first season,” said Mike O’Donnell.

“We offered three the first season, four the second season and we have five foals to be offered at Riverside Stables this year. To top that, we also have nine mares in foal this year!”

Below are the five Farnan weanlings to be offered by Fairhill Farm next week.
