$1.2million I Am Invincible Filly

Tara Madgwick - Sunday April 6

Yarraman Park’s champion sire I Am Invincible was in the G1 groove on Saturday with two year-old colt Vinrock winning the Group I ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes and he got his first million dollar yearling at Inglis Easter on Sunday afternoon when the filly from Missile Mantra sold for $1.2million.

$1.2million I Am Invincible filly from Missile Mantra.

Consigned by Yarraman Park and bought by Chris Waller Racing / Mulcaster Bloodstock, she is the second foal of Group III winning Smart Missile mare Missile Mantra, who was also second in the Group I MRC Thousand Guineas.

The filly has spent more time out of her box than in during the past week.

“She was very popular. She was the most paraded horse we had all year throughout every sale,” said Yarraman Park’s Matt Scown.

“She was popular amongst the buyers and it translated in the ring… it was fantastic and she’s off to a great judge, Guy Mulcaster and Chris Waller to train. It’s the perfect home, we’re rapt.

“She really handled the prep well. It's a current family and it's constantly progressing the right way and she handled everything we threw at her and never turned a hair.

“It's the sign of a good filly, we think. She had the scope. She had the presence. She had the attitude. She had everything!”

Missile Mantra was purchased for $950,000 from the 2022 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale off the track and since then her half-sister Makarena has burst on to the scene winning the Group II ATC Golden Pendant as well as racking up multiple Group placings adding even further to her appeal.

The first foal from Missile Mantra is two year-old Capitalist colt Missile Magnate, who has shown good potential with a second and a win from just three starts for Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald.

Missile Mantra has a colt to follow by I Am Invincible, but missed to him last spring so will be ready for an early service later this year.
