Variety aplenty in April (Early) Online Sale

A share in a top-class colt that was runner-up in last year’s Golden Slipper, a sister to a G1 winner-turned-stallion on a desirable cover and a stallion share in Russian Revolution highlight a diverse catalogue for the Inglis Digital April (Early) Online Sale.

Coleman was the first colt home in the 2024 G1 Golden Slipper, defeating the likes of Storm Boy, Traffic Warden, Switzerland, Manaal, Hayasugi etc.

He was the highest rated 2YO of his generation before returning as a spring 3YO to finish 2nd in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes behind G1 winner Switzerland.

Now in the care of champion trainer Chris Waller, he is being managed with a Brisbane campaign in mind, the G1 Doomben 10,000 and the G1 Stradbroke Handicap amongst his options.

A 10% share in Coleman (pictured) is being offered in this sale.

Bout (Artie Schiller) is a winning sister to G1-winning Champion 3YO and G1 sire Flying Artie.

She is being offered in foal to exciting first season sire and G1 Golden Slipper winner Shinzo.

Russian Revolution stallion share is sure to pique the interest of breeders ahead of the looming breeding season.

Standing at Newgate Farm, Russian Revolution was crowned Champion First and Second Season Sire and is already a G1-producing stallion.

His crop of 137 registered yearlings was conceived at $71,500, while his 129 registered foals were bred at $88,000, so he has quality stock in large quantities to come through for him in years to come.

Stakes-winning 2YO Aardvark (Capitalist) is another enticing entry.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained 3YO won last year’s Listed Talindert Stakes at Flemington as a juvenile before running behind Traffic Warden in the G2 Sires’ Produce Stakes.

He has been prepared for his 3YO autumn campaign with a recent 2nd in a Randwick barrier trial, defeating Estriella and Tuesday’s Rosehill winner Green Fly.

In total the April (Early) catalogue consists of 396 entries – 164 racehorses (80 race fillies), 121 broodmares, 51 yearlings, 33 racehorse shares, 24 weanlings and two stallion shares.
